Hello again all, just bought a second hand IT4 engraver to do tankards etc.

it came with all the things to hold trophy's and tankards but there was only one pair of clamps for plate, does anyone have a set of clamps they want to sell that will hold pens, watches , lighters and anything else you can think of, the holes on the clamps are 2 1/4" apart.

if you remove the wooden clamps you have you will be able to put a zippo style lighter straight in and tighten slowly to avoid scratching the ligjter. not an ideal solution but it should get you through the busy festive period so you dont have to say no to engraving jobs.this is what i had to do back in 1990 when working for minit.

Craig thanks for the reply mate, I already have an IM3 at work with all the jigs to do the small stuff, been asked for years if I do tankards and trophys so instead of sending them away I have decided to do them myself at home as there is no space left at work and I thought if anything else came in late I could do it at home as well.
