Guest Phill
Been looking to open a 2nd shop for some time now but I'm in two minds. I know Danny King from this site, and openning his second shop has really worked for him. But I also know others who have done it and seem to work twice as hard for little more profit. Would appreciate advice from anyone who has tried, or any experiance you might have

Danny King
Hi Phil, Having 2 shops has worked for me but then I work 6 days a week and am always out in the evening moving stock from one shop to the other. O and holidays what are they . It is all starting to fall into place now but it has been a hard 10 months. Your circumstances are different than mine as there is 3 of you. All I can say is go with your gut instinct if it feles right then go for it. Good Luck Danny
keithm
Phil I have been in this situation in the past and I would only do it if you are sure you have done your sums. So often, people get it wrong and think, 2 shops, twice the profit It's often not the case Be thorough in your planning, make the right choices and don't scrimp on setting up costs, as shops that look cheap often don't realise their potential! Just my thoughts Keith
ironplanet uk900
I agree with Keith, If your going to do it, Do it properly. Stand back and think how it will effect your private life, and if you can put up with the change, because it does effect everything. Longer hours, more worry, staff problems, holidays etc.
