Guest Phill Posted August 23, 2007 Report Share Posted August 23, 2007 we get problems with chubb keys on occasions, customer brings in a non genuine chubb and want a copy. We use genuine chubb blanks because the key bit is thicker than the copies and lasts longer. The problem is some key cutters use CH1G blanks for most brass keys. The WKS and Globe style blank are brass but need a thin key bit to pass through the keyway so a CH1G blanks works but the genuine wont go in Customer comes back and says our key wont go in Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
