Guest samtheman
thing is how often do you see this m3 key how much can you charge for it? or is the price set by chubb? and how much does the machine cost? everything is the same, dependant on how many keys you cut to whether you bother to buy the machine. Guest Phill
Hi sam, The key machine didn't cost anything you have to spend £6000 on M3 locks. We had a job to change 112 cylinders at a local housing association so that pretty much covered it. When we change cylinder locks we offer standard or high security, it works out about 50/50 and the customer has to come to us to get keys cut Key blanks cost £1.20 and we charge £9.95 for non suited or £12.95 for master, we've gone through about 100 blanks in a year. It's a great asset to a business like our's but not as good as the chubb RKS range (mortice key restricted range) Thats proved very lucrative over the years.
