Hugh-Candoit (ENG) Posted April 25, 2007 Report Share Posted April 25, 2007 A couple of times I have seen requests for Slate. dont know what section they were in but here is a bit of info for all you Engraving bods out there. After reading through the Stocks and Shares section of the daily News I came upon this article that may have some bearing on the availability of Slate. Sir Alfred McAlpine owners of the Festiniog Slate Mining Quarry in Wales have closed all operations down due to gross widespread corruption involving all the management.
