Michael
Anybody got any idea whats going on with Bianchi 883 update? Davenports told me it is a free download from Keyline website which I cant find anywhere, NW keys told me it was a pack which includes leads, a cd-rom and a dongle which has to be purchased. But I bet when I do get it updated the bloody customers will still say "I'm not paying that just for a key,I'll make do with the 1"!!!!!!!!!!! I don't seem to program enough of these to learn about the different types of chips which can or cannot be programmed....very confusing and i'm starting to wonder if it wasn't a waste of money! keyfast
the up-date of nwks is £220, you have to have it conected to a computer or text the code number to them and they will text the new code back to you to imput into the new key head ( TK30 ). DOING THE SAME AS SILCA DONE WITH RW3,, WE ALL WENT OUT AND PAID FOR UPDATE, THEN THEY CAME OUT WITH RW4, MORE MONEY. IT WILL DO KEYS LIKE FORD BLUE TOP,NISSAN BLUE ETC, STUART

I ended up at wh software. http://www.whsoftware.com/DesktopDefault.aspx?tabid=107 its a january 2007 update?
Michael
Thanks Lee but that is the software for the instacode key code cutter. Your quite lucky T.I.T.S. most round here have the crypto keys that need to be done with more advanced programmers, or haven't they got any newer cars up in bonnie Scotland yet? samantha
Having just returned from Keyline following the launch of the Texas 883 Crypto Project - I can let you know exactly how it works. Firstly if you already own an 883 machine then you will pay £215.00 for the update kit. This kit includes cd update, cables and security dongle. Load software onto a pc and connect 883 machine to update the machine firmware (or send your machine to us to update) - Activate this update by placing the security dongle into the machine (this is a one off procedure). Your machine is now enabled to clone Texas Crypto chip keys. There are now two options available to clone these keys. Firstly (& the simplest) by connecting the 883 to a pc with internet connection - All procedures are then automatically done online. If you do not have access to the internet then the alternative is by SMS text messaging - This is done by reading the original key which creates an outcode. Type this outcode into your phone and text to the Keyline server this then promptly returns a code to your phone which you then type into the 883 machine (using the read/write keys) and copy the key. Keylines' aim was to utilise a machine that has been on the market for nearly 5 years. By using the Keyline server they see the potential for new technical advances to be made to the same machine without the need for new hardware. There is a new range of blades for the additional applications and a new key head (TK30). For more information please see the demonstration on our web site at www.nwkeys.co.uk or telephone me. Hope this helps!
Michael
Thanks Samantha. When will these update packs be available? Is this RRP set by Keyline or are all wholesalers going to be different prices? Will you let us know on your website when they are in stock? 'Onest Andy
I have just placed an order for this update myself. I find the Bianchi machine very easy to use and so far I have not had a single coded key that didn't work . I have ordered the update through davenport Burgess. £210 is their quoted price. I am informed that I will receive a CD with the software update. I have to install this software on to my PC with the Bianchi machine cconneted up to it. However I will not be billed for this upgrade until I register the software. I am under the impression this needs to be done online. So for those with no internet access at work not quite sure how you activate it all. With regard to the question of the customer's " I'm not paying that for a key" situation. My suggestion would be a few phone calls to local dealers to get an idea of prices for the Fords, Chryslers and Toyotas & Nissans as far as I understand it these are the most popular. Obviously you don't want to give the things away but for instance a key for a Chrysler voyager at my local dealership comes in at a couple of quid short of £150. You could pitch your keys at £100 a time. a bragain to the customer and a nice earner for yourself... let's face it cut 3 of those and your upgrade is paid for. Michael
Andy, are you going to be charging more for the new TK30 cryptos than the TK23 and TK24 keys? I'm charging £55 for the 23 & 24 and don't see many people paying more for these new ones. Do you ring up each dealer and pretend to be a customer and ask for a specific model or tell them you are a key cutter and would like a price list for all models? Firstly yes I will be charging more. i currently charge £60 for 23 &24... With regard to the new keys I'll be charging as much as I reasonably can without getting too close to the dealer's prices.. And yes i do ring up the dealers pretending to be a customer.. i use my mobile with it's free minutes so costs nothing to find out what i need to know. Technical Tony original
Hi - Sorry if I get these answered in the wrong place ! As I am all new to this ! ! ! ! Ok Here goes ... SKS offer an upgrade which will copy the Blue Fords and Texas Crypto keys for only £180+vat . How this works is ... The Unit connects to your OWN PC - Hence no internet link or Txting needed . (You will received Free PC software with this as well), You place customers key onto unit and the PC will read and find the code of the Crypto, in turn it will then be ready to re-write a new code to your Battery head (Silca I think only / as not tried the KL ones yet!) This all happens in around 10 - 30 sec's ! This as such is a Stand alone (Plus your PC) tool and will only copy the Texas Crypto keys . BUT can be used along side you Bianchi 883 machine and any other machine that can not be upgraded to copy these keys !! Hope this info helps ....
