EZEily the biggest disappointment I've had for many a year!

I got my EzeBadge on Friday. Excellent for trophy centres, but if your making one's and two's and put the paper through your printer a few times it discolours (this I found out whilst playing with designs)

I have an order for 26 badges, and the software supplied simply won't do what I need it to (margins, text justification design manipulation etc) I am going to have to make up a template using other editing software. Given the software is the BIGGEST COST of the system it sucks! its NOT value for money, compared with other programs at similar money at FIRST IMPRESSIONS it seams over priced.

Well if you can't take the margins out, then its a pile of crap thats going back were it came from.

I was just messing on sunday. I tried to put my Company Logo on a badge, the biggest I could do it made it look pathetic  Who ever designed the software is a w##ker.

Like you say Lee, the software is the most expensive part of the package, and it's so basic its untrue.

Biggest disapointement this year  :x

Well my internets going to be down for most of the day.. so bye bye till later chummies

if their system is as awkward as their forum is then i think i'll give it a miss

3 times i've logged on, 3 times it told me i had to log on to view something

lee, can't you create the whole badge in another programme, do your margins, justification etc and then import it as a single item or picture?

(i know you shouldn't have to but it may be worth a try if you haven't already)

maybe i'll withhold investing in one till i see how you guys fare with their support and the seemingly crappy software.

With a RRP of £200 you get the program and an image disk, and a few sheets of blanks and domes.

You can buy the sheets separate and create your won templates in what ever image software you have, however the centres are really, really easy and the software excellent for the task, But since its called EZEBADGE Badges aren't so easy! easy if you use the inadequate templates.

I think the system should be re-branded EZECENTRE!

I will get used to the system and do a Test Centre review ONCE I know its full cababilities.

I was looking at buying this, But you guys are really putting me off.......

Just bear on mind both UK900 & Myself only got this system last week, we both have to "learn" it and may have been premature in our comments. I have posted some topics on the EZEBADGE forum today which may help and I will do an honest and informative review of this product in due course.

We can all afford as Entrepreneurs to spend £200 on a Seemingly small investment, but can we afford to waist it?

I am indeed beginning to eat humble pie! You can edit Test position within the program

(UK900)

2_ezebadge_1.jpg

You can change

Text Details

Text Position

Graphic position/sizing

Background colour

Simply select the sticker (s) you want to edit ensuring there is no red cross. Make your changes then click the apply button on the right-hand panel. NB changes will be applied to all stickers that are selected i.e. have no red cross

However this is not clear in the CD instructions, and isn't easy to centralise etc.

I will spend some time with this and report back.

I agree with that! Just spent ages on my badge order, printed them out, re-sized logo came out as original (to big) and text came out loads smaller than I had sized it

Initial view - Doesn't do what its supposed to!

This system appears seriously floored to me! I will submit this one to there web site as well (It could still be user error)

Lee, I spent a few hours tonight with this program, and unless I'm missing something, its a joke.

When you get to the Choose Calibration window, Theres a dropdown menu with default template in it... so you drop the menu and theres no other chioce!!

Then you have in the same window a Delete Calibration button, which tells you you can't delete calibration!!!!

So also in the same window you have Margins...Left, Right, Top, Bottom, with default figures in it!!...........You can't alter these ether.

Infact you can't alter anything in this window!!!!!

So why is the window headed..Choose Calibration For Template.

To me it's a load of tosh.

I can't see a way of putting a Logo onto a badge using the full size of the badge

Without using another program to do so,, rendering eze badge software redundant

I'll put my humble pie back in the fridge.

Whats your conclusion??
