Looks like Andy's doing some Scambaiting!, but please read the tips on this at http://www.419eater.com/html/baiting.htm

WARNING

Please remember that these people are CRIMINALS and should be treated as such.

Under no circumstances must you enter into any communications with these people unless you feel you are adequately prepared to deal with them.

Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES give them ANY real private information about yourself. These guys may appear dumb and clueless, but I suspect it wouldn't be so funny if you were to come face-to-face with one of them, although I'll be the first to admit the chances against this happening are astronomical - unless of course you are dumb enough to fly over to meet them in person, in which case you need to be sectioned ASAP!

If you are unsure of what you are doing please LEAVE WELL ALONE!

just looked at the scambaiting web site this morning, these guys are in a different league altogether, i just want to waste the guys time, never really occured to me i might wake up with a horses head on my pillow. however remote that chance is, knowing my luck, mr churck mellinger will probably be visiting england to see his half brother "vinney the loon" and after a few pints at the "kings broken arms" he will come pay me a visit.

I googled this address and came up with your site, I thought you might like to know this is still going on from this address, God knows why?

And to thank you all for posting addresses (which I googled to find you)

I picked up this scam on the first email but I have had two of these guys trying the same stunt and thought I would warn you all that it is on going.

I contacted mastercard they did not want to know and no matter how much G'tee you get from them when the money (might go through) they will claw back that money from YOU everytime (about a month later)

I also reported it to the Police in the area, they did not want to know as an 'actual' crime had not (yet) been committed, Duh! (I would refute that)

BEWARNED Please !

These two have tried to con me out of £10000 by giving me 9 different credit cards splitting the payments up, their delivery address is the same as Andy's con man was in October. They gave me 4 different names and 5 or 6 differens addresses. I wil list some of them for you here. to compare

Edited by the administrator, Names & Address' have been removed under the Data protection act

Every one of them apper to be under the 'Nigerian' type accent

and they all answer to eachothers name.

Contents of the emails & layouts are the same as is the style of language.

The 'mobile' phone numbers they give you are not mobile numbers but UK divert numbers which can be diverted anywhere in the world. If you speak to them you will tell by the very bad, noisy telephone link.

I, As said reported it and copied the emails to MAstercard and to the police in those areas, I have heard nothing back, but I told them i will stall these people so they can get their act together, and have now gone as far as to say that I will deliver and meet them with the goods in person, because they are very pushy to get the deal over and done with to get a clean getaway.

Of course I have not sent any goods and have been stringing them along to enable PC plod to plod along which seems a waste of time and effort.

SO PLEASE BE CAREFUL these scammers will pinch your Y-fronts given half the chance.

I wonder Why has no one visited them at any of the addresses ?

Apologies for the long post.

Thanks you for comments Iain, I edit only a hand full of posts through out the year, however as with this post I spent considerable time checking the legalities of the content before editing.

This was one of inquiziters first posts and as such I checked its content & found one of the address to be an existing address.

I, As said reported it and copied the emails to MAstercard and to the police in those areas, .

Under the privacy laws I am not allowed to publish names and address‘ of those involved in a criminal investigation & as such removed the content to protect in integrity of an ongoing investigation.

This was in fact a quote of ANDY’s post & I have edited inquiziters post accordingly ANDYS a trusted member & the content showed a fictitious address.

Hi and Thank you for your comments, I realise why you edited, and I by no means came here to cause any disruption but I believe you have under quoted me (is that possible) :)

Can I requote myself to put it in context again;

"I contacted mastercard they did not want to know"

They did nothing, no investigation.

"I also reported it to the Police in the area, they did not want to know as an 'actual' crime had not (yet) been committed"

They did nothing, no investigation

so yes you correctly state;

Under the privacy laws you am not allowed to publish names and address‘ of those involved in a criminal investigation & as such removed the content to protect in integrity of an ongoing investigation

But as none would take anything to do with it, the only privacy law that i can see would "me" releasing it to joe public.

As an update to this I Played with these scammers :)

I told them a little white lie, I said that I was there with the good to deliver and the place was swarming with the police fraud squad, surprise, surprise they did not / would not turn up. they told me to go to their other address which was supposed to be the house they live in, it is a burger shop, and the post code they gave was also wrong.

I told them I knew they were scammers and they only laughed and told me that I would not catch them, asking me why I bothered to waste my time it I knew that. (Ok so, I enjoyed the baiting)

Could I also Please ask; if you could keep the delivery address I was given (Trading est address) in my post along with Andy's (same address), as this enables others to google that address which would warn of such scamming from it. I wonder if anyone lives near there and will go look at it ?

Inq:)
