Guest brentlee
While we are on the topic of helping each other are there any jobs / topics that people want done as a tutorial. we all have different skills and most of us do more of one type of work than others either because we love it, are good at it or just see alot of it. So if you have a topic post it here and then someone may be able to do something similar to the re-welting post for you. If you are going to do the post let us all know so there arent 3 guys working on the same thing and lets get some learning going from and between each other. Cheers Brett

Gingerbas
I'm an orthopaeadic shoemaker and orthotic techy (calipers and splints), i used to work with both minit and timpson's, most of our work is shoe adaptions (raises), anything from 1" too 6", any one interested in a tutorial in this pls reply. Once offered this in cutting Edge but i think it was only Hibsjo that took an interest(I may be wrong) .
ironplanet uk900
Hey, Come on get this tutorial started, I'd love to see someone else's work. I've done a fair bit of this work over the years.. I was never trained in this field, (never made callipers though) But think we always do a good job. Personally I'd love to see your Tutorial

Lee
Id be interested in seeing a larger raise +3" using cork, covered with leather or how ever you do it! I've never been asked to do a raise over this height. Lee
Gingerbas
one or two of our patients have it done this way, now that EVA's and micro's a lot lighter than b4 we usually cut the original sole off to retain for putting back on l8r, there is ways of making the even lighter, but keeping the pitch and balance of the shoe is the most importnt part. i'll take a few pics this week and post a tutorial. cheers for the feed back.. if you want I can do one in leather cover. But would still love to see someone who is trained in this type of work. Nice one Viking
