Lee
I changed the dust bag on my 700 yesturday, what a difference it made to the suction! I couldn't believe it. I forgot just how powerful the suction was - Go change your old dust bag today! (mine was as old as the machine and I got that 14 years ago!) Very easy to change, took arround 2 hours including customers. Lee
keithm
Blimey Lee, I have been trying to tell people this for years, just goes to show the difference. It will benefit you in two ways, your health and the shop as in, you won't have to clean the blinkin place every day I always suggest a bag change every 2 years, I wonder how many out there have been changed at all since they had the machine? keithm
Keeping you rmachine clean, shaking the bag regularly and emptying the dust draw daily, will assist you in keeping your machine in much better order. Change the contact wheels and brushes as necassary. Change abnds when they are worn! Other than that, you don't have to to do alot to finishers, thankfully!! keithm
No they're not all fire retardent. Yes you do pay for a fire retardent bag. In fact, some insurers insist on it! The manufacturers state that they are fire retardent. Nuff said Jo, now get your wallet out man!!
Hugh-Candoit (ENG)
Just invented a new way of retarding fires and keeping the shop cool during the summer. Get a water supply over the bag to drip constantly onto the bag. The bag gets soaked. The bag then cant catch fire. The damp air circulates around the shop keeping everyone cool. A burst water pipe in the flat above is a bonus
Lee
Burst pipe, I had one of those from the flat above a few years back, but it was nice having a swimming pool in the shop. the local sports centre took a drop in numbers that day!
