I'll try to explain... If wishing to clamp a double sided auto blank in jaw A, within the rebate and not with the blank edge against the jaw. Then the machine needs to know the blank position in relation to the cutter, The lightning symbol would then be deployed, press go to start cutting. The carriage will then move towards the cutter, the cutter will sense the key, it will then start cutting the blank in that position.

Is the key not working in any lock? Cuts on new seem too close to shoulder, check with Vernier, shoulder to centre of first cut is 4.00mm
