kobblers
They're usually Silca LF12. You should also be able to use Silca VO12 or Silca BT2. Silca card 298. Rick.
Simes
That’s what I thought but they won’t fit in the lock
grahamparker
Make sure the wafers are not stuck and move freely. As the cover is open I would suggest the lock will be completely seized up therefore even the correct blank will not fit. I’ll check that
kobblers
Graham's correct. This is advice I send out with any mail orders for those sorts of lock, and it's nearly always the case that in the event of an issue, that the wafers have seized: THESE TYPES OF LOCKS ARE NOTORIOUS FOR SEIZING WHEN NOT PROPERLY MAINTAINED, SO PLEASE DON'T AUTOMATICALLY ASSUME THAT THE KEY IS FAULTY IF IT DOESN'T WORK. IF THE LOCK HAS BEEN UNUSED FOR A WHILE, PLEASE ENSURE THAT IT HAS BEEN WELL OILED (Not WD40 as it is a degreaser) & THEN LEFT TO SIT FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS BEFORE USING YOUR NEW KEY AS THE INTERNAL WAFERS MAY HAVE BECOME JAMMED IN PLACE. IF THE KEY IS STILL DIFFICULT TO USE, APPLY MORE OIL TO THE CUTS ON THE KEY AND THEN INSERT THE KEY INTO THE LOCK AND GENTLY WIGGLE THE KEY WHILST TRYING TO TURN IT. GENTLY TAPPING THE BODY OF THE LOCK WITH A HAMMER MAY ALSO HELP. ALSO CHECK THAT THERE'S NOTHING STUCK IN THE LOCK. DO NOT USE FORCE Rick.
