cobblers.keys
I am giving my key machines a clean down and replacing cutters etc. What would be the recommended lubricant for all the moving parts? WD-40, gt85, 3 in 1. Or general maintenance spray etc? Thanks
Trev
Don't use WD40 - it is a de-greaser and so will remove all lubrication causing a massive increase in wear. gt85 works by leaving a thin coating of PTFE - not sure how quickly it would wear away on moving parts. Something like Nuto H32 is used on lathes and so is probably more suitable. cobblers.keys
