AURUM Posted August 23, 2022 Report Share Posted August 23, 2022 Hello, I have RingCube engraver (image) and yesterday my RingCube software start crashing. I can't start app. I contacted Gravotech support but they don't support my machine anymore and they can't help me, but I found in manual that in the right side of machine when you take of right panel there is SD CARD with BACKUP SOFTWARE (pictures in attachment) but when I opened my machine there is no card anywhere Is there anyone that have this engraver can upload and send me content of that SD CARD. Procedure 1 (reinstalling OS): Extract the contents of OS_abc_01.09fr.zip Copy the NK.bin and version.txt onto your SD card Insert SD card into the machine and turn it on. The screen will display “Installing… “ or similar. Leave it for a good 10 minutes. If the screen changes to say “Completed”, remove the SD card and delete the NK.bin and version files Sometimes it never changes to completed, but has probably worked (hence waiting 10 minutes) Reboot the machine. It will take several minutes to boot up. Procedure 2 (reinstalling ringcube software): Save the SetupRingCubeStd.zip file to your computer and extract the contents Copy the setup.cab file to an SD card or USB memory stick Insert the card/stick into the ringcube Close any errors you see You should be able to see “My Device” (possibly in French) in the top left corner. Double tap on this icon If SD card, double tap on SDCard (or similar) and then double tap the setup file and then tap OK. If USB, Select USBStorage (or similar) and then double tap the setup file and select OK. Restart the machine You may find the machine asks for a few reboots. If this works, you should be able to engrave, but you may find the alignment is out. Please run through the PDF on aligning to setup the alignments.
