grahamparker
From memory I also cut them on the Lancer, but i have removed the holding pins from my jaws when I had a large double bit safe key to cut. So I used the V on the bottom and the flat jaw on top so that the key did not roll forward when clamped. You could use light pressure on the v jaw and use the side head clamp to keep the key straight also.

Where the arch is put small drill bit or something similar of kind and it make it secure and straight. You will need two same size drills small ones for the original and the blank to be cut. i used the drill bits with which I drill out pins from heel. hope that helps
