The Worksop Heel Bar
Have tried cutting this key on HD ASEC2 blank twice now on different machines and the customer says it will go in but not turn. Do I need to use a different blank?

Mike at Vauxhall
I love HD products, but use silca or jma for Asec.
ponsaloti
I've found on some Asec and ERA euro's , the tip shape is critical. Mike at Vauxhall and grahamparker
The Worksop Heel Bar
Just an update on this. Had a different customer come in the ASEC1 key so used the Silca one but the customer kept coming back saying it wouldn't turn. Tried aligning to shoulder and to tip but nothing worked. Had some of the old HD ASEC stock in the back so tried that and it worked! Luckily the customer was only a couple hundred yards down the road. ponsaloti
Do the tips on the HD's look the same as the silca version?
kobblers
I've had a bit of trouble with ASEC aftermarket keys by most manufacturers and it invloves the end of the key snapping off if the last cut is even remotely deep - even with a new blade and cutting very slowly, they still have a tendency to snap........ Anyone else had this issue? Rick. CummingsLocks
