exp121260
Many solo Dry Cleaners Timpsons or independents will be closed if the situation stands as it's now for another few months.. Dry Cleaners were already struggling prior to Covid-19 and now they just suffer significantly. No Weddings, No Birthday parties, No nightclubbing , Not much office work, office meetings and office parties and very limited attendance in Funerals ! grahamparker
Surely at £45k you have to be in London or an area manager.
Count Muppet
£45k is only £865 a week. if someone is on £450 per week for 6 days work which is quite common. Maybe an extra £80- £100 if the fancy a Sunday. they do £5k for the week which would leave them with £378 bonus assuming they worked all week. so that’s 450+100+378 = £928 for the week. £48k if they did that every week. then of course some weeks may be busier or they might want a day or 2 off so things could be a little different either way. Count Muppet
It’s not me doing those hours. I only work 5 days a week. I prefer life away from work these days. a few years back I was hitting around £30ph (all in, some weeks)but I’m happier to earn less and have a life. some people can get a lot more than that. theres a couple of shops where they were taking £10k (average) a week on their own but that sort of work would kill me now. they would be looking at around £1600 per week. Just depends if you want to work with someone or not. Fast Fix Elgin
