tommy
Hi Guys, As the title says I'm new to dimple keys but am hoping to get a Mustang machine soon. Is there a list for which tracers/cutters to use on certain keys or can you advise me? I'll mainly be cutting Yale superior, Ultion and master dimple keys Also is the consensus 13.5 degree tilt on the Yale Superior and are there any other keys that require a tilt? TIA Regards Paul

I just got an RST Mustang last week and I'm raking through the past posts for info so I'll probably be asking a few questions if that's ok. What angle is needed on the Kaba keys Graham?? Thanks... grahamparker
Which Kaba key ? Kaba 20 ?
grahamparker
I use my Triax for these and KABA 20 is a 45' angle. Not sure what cutter to use but be very wary cutting these they can get jammed in the lock very easily. Kaba Gemini which i had quite a few to do for one customer uses a 15' angle. Just got a Mustang this week and finding help and info on the various keys, cutters and tracers thin on the ground. For such a popular machine there's next to nothing online or on YouTube for it... Lock Stock
You won’t do a lot of Kaba 20 keys only the very old ones. Kaba changed the pins and tips of the keys a while ago. KA2 only works in old locks, you can try and adapt the tips but is a lot of work and time. Don’t forget though who brought out Silca before way they reapplied to extend the pattern on Kaba 20. The Kaba 20 keys will never be looked at or added to SKP again by Silca. Happy Dude

Thanks for the advice, probably best to just knock them back as usual.
