should we start supplying each other at

trade as i have been doing my own plates

for years i will post pics if it is ethical

to the forum rules

also i think  stock has become a problem for some

where 5-10 prs  at a time is no longer feasible i carry 20 -30 different types of soles

rubber, pvc, nat brn, blk, sep, units yes i know silly!! but old world, must be hard for new gen,to give

this variety to customer so what about a trade counter were we could offer 1 or 2 prs

all our supplers will give 1 key 1tin 1spray 1tag but not one will give you 1pr of soles or heels

Yeah really sad and not good for anyone,  helped me out by supplying one of those american Cross Alun keys a couple of months back after I needed one for a part. big area and boots to fill for someone potentially.

One thing thats bothering me is i think we are all going to funnel into using Laser engravers....which for me is currently not possible.....seems even basic parts for Rotaries are becomes so hard to come by as the market is now a wash with Lasers.

Im struggaling to get hold of the test tape as I don't have a huge amount left as Umarq used to sell it now don't and mastergrave used to sell it who have gone. only too places I can see have it are  Charlie Birch where im waiting in a pile for a trade account  and Aldridge Security who im trying to get hold of to see if they have any in stock, before i go through the registration rigmarole.

Try and get some clear application tape from somewhere like MDP Supplies. It's used for applying vinyl when signmaking, very similar stuff.

As we keep mentioning try Pantograph services, never let me down they even have parts for my 2 x 30/40 year old hermes V3000 computer machines that we still use on a daily basis.

I have started using Pantograph and so far so good.  :)  Prompt efficient and friendly service.

I've just spoken to Amanda at www.theengravingworkshop.co.uk . This was the engraving website and sister company of Mastergrave, if you need anything that they used to sell then give her a call on 07565 975081 anything they are not stocking they will get for you. All accounts will be pro-forma (don't blame them either!)
