Simes
Managed to be careless enough to catch the upper in the heel part of the shoe on the rough band of the finisher! I'm guessing I'm not the only one to have slipped up in this way. What a complete muppet! They would have to be Cheaney's wouldn't they!! Any idea if there is any sort of repair process worth trying? They are light tan by the way

grahamparker
Must add that both times the shoes where quite badly damaged.

x minit uk
Yeah been there done that, I’m afraid. Happens to us all. If it’s not to bad repair the damage as best you can and like you say offer the repair free and a credit note for his next repair, that way he just might come back. Disappointed with the damage but reasonable. Had planned to darken the shoe colour so he's going to see what they look like after. Wanted to pay part of the repair but I insisted on him having it free. He assured me he will be returning with more shoes, so happy days chrisorros, x minit uk, Mike at Vauxhall and 3 others
