Growster
I have a hunch I have seen these before, but I have no idea what these are.
grahamparker
New one i have never seen before. This last 2 years there has been an explosion in new unseen blanks especially out of China. It certainly keeps the job interesting.
Count Muppet
I’d try the gatemate blank. Seems to fit many of the others. Don’t worry about the extra groove Growster
Mike at Vauxhall
Bit alarming when they put, "one off key" actually on it .
Growster
Just as an add-on: This was, in fact, a Hooply key, and the Gatemate blank worked as well. Other keys they found for the same lock were cut on both sides.
grahamparker
Hi Chris, i think that one off key changes the padlock combination allowing use of a second set of keys while disabling the master set by allowing a ball bearing to drop into the plug. That is why it is called a One Off key you use it once then swap to the next set of keys, you can strip and repin moving the bearing/s back into the body if you know the positions of the cuts. Squire used to offer something similar for house builders.
