Buy new or used

Recommended Posts

Buying used considerable savings can be made especially if not vat registered ...but is it s false economy when it comes to the computer operated versions .. as I know nothing about the reliability of these machines ,Umarq etc .

PM sent, I have a Gravograph IS200 machine and loads of stock to sell, it will go on the forum and ebay in the next few days/week (donation will be made to forum charity I am a long standing member and know the score)

With regard to your question, I've always bought second hand. and always found it to be far far less expensive in the short and long term

A good brand new machine will usually cost £2000-£5000 more than the same model second hand, considering most repairs only cost £150-£300 and that usually only happens once every 2-4 years the savings are very very easy to see
