Two questions relating to the above machine

1) Does anyone know how to update the firmware and if they do, do they have the util and file they could email? We've tried to do it via Davenport Burgess many times but it's never worked yet.

2) Does anyone know which chips this kit can't clone? We know it can't do anything crypto but beyond that I seem to recall there's a type it can't touch. Maybe with a firmware update it could.

Thanks

That machine is dead now

I think it can do t5 chips and tk23 heads.

I don't think it can do a car that has been made in the last 15 years or so.

Get the keyline mini with all software and you will be well up to date.

Thanks Muppet. Had a look, looks interesting. So there's nothing else in the works we should hang on for? It seems there's always something super-duper just around the corner...! But maybe that's the name of the game.

What sort of price are we looking at for a Mini with all software?

Also, how would we do remotes with unlock buttons please?  More mini machines needed?

Thanks

Hi. You can get it from Tradelocks - http://tradelocks.co.uk/keyline-car-key-cloning.html

The unit itself costs £249+VAT, but you can buy it together with Megamos (so you can clone ID48 chips pre 2003) for £299+VAT, or with the Megamos Xtreme (full ID58 cloning) for £749+VAT.

I hope this helps.

Also consider the Silca RW4 as there was a trade in deal although i am not sure if this is still running.

If your not bothered about ID46 and 48 cloning then also consider the CN900 mini.

There is a trade show soon and well worth a visit to compare before you buy.

Also consider chip prices as this can make a big difference in the long run.
