StevenB
I've got a customer (a Physiotherapist) that has a brass plaque on the wall outside his premises. Being right next to the sea, it has tarnished badly in the salt air & he is after a new one, but ideally in a solid material that is more resilient. Disregarding all laminate materials, is there any solid metal that will stand up to the environment better? I've had a look at the materials on the engravamet website & am wondering whether anodised aluminium or phosphor bronze would do the trick. I've never used either of these materials so would welcome the opinions of those that have.

Count Muppet
I know you said you don't want laminate but we use metallex (?) for things like this. It looks like brushed brass but I think it's aluminium on top of plastic. Simes
Martin56
Hi maybe get a nice piece of corian granite and infill then spray with acrylic clear coat, I made a house sign for a friend who lives on the coast 5 years ago, he just gives it a wash with soapy water once a year.
