mrkeys
Hi all Sks number 615/01 and 615/02 era keys They are a 5 gauge but I need this exact key in a 5.5 gauge can't find em anywhere even rang up for them and ordered genuine blanks on the advice that there is some variance in them, but the thicker 5 gauge come back every time .........any ideas? grahamparker
My answer to your question is that it is possibly not an era key if it's a 5 1/2 gauge. There are copies of this key (zoo hardware do one but it is a 4 1/2 gauge) and it is probably not available yet. We suggest a new lock to our customer at this point (union essential 3 lever should fit straight in and it is based on the mm series). Gray
Iv'e got the 615/01 and 02 from SKS and the ERA genuine ones ABR L and R The ERA ones are thicker.........As Graham says its probably not an ERA key.
Cjm
Sorry, but our copy blank also measures 4.5 gauge, with the genuine being 5 gauge. I do not know of a 5.5 gauge version of this blank.
jacko
Are the Fortress keys the same size as the Viscount?

Cjm
I believe the issue may arise from the fact Era now make locks at different factories, so in fact it's not really the keys which are variants in this case, it's more to do with the locks. grahamparker
ERA Locks went down the tubes years ago when they started competing with the chinese market.
