Silca MH Electronic Key is the latest innovation from Silca

Recommended Posts

Hi

My opinion, Silca once again a bad thing to us has made. People have bought the complete set of blades under EH and EHP a series. And here this time there is new series MH (type 2 in one). But instead of making as has made KeyLine that the new head approached under old blades. Silca does a new series with other head, and it does not approach to old blades. I and have told to the regional supplier that I will not buy neither new blades nor a new head.

I suggest not to buy at all this new MH the version. No, I certainly understand all want to earn. But not in the same way, here let Silca will take away old blades and all heads and will change on new, or will let out separately the version for old blades.

So whats wrong with using up your stock & moving over the new keys? the flyer said they can be programmed on the RW machine, so you use up your old stock & order in the new key?????? getting ride of battery heads is the only way to go & I think Silca have recognised this.

The design is nice!

I against have no anything, I against that that Silca imposed the new keys. It was necessary to make a new head under old blades.

It not those keys which leave quickly. At me for example already some blades lie 2 years, and never I did them.

As a EH3 and EH3P head key user, It looks to me that there are two great advantage of these new MH Electronic keys is over the EH3 and EH3P head keys; its shape, (the older EH3 and EH3P heads look ugly), the second advantage even weighs more than the first, the battery-less head. I started using EH3 and EH3P keys (which need a battery to run the circuit of the key to work), in June 2010. Because, these had batteries to run the key, I was always scared of getting a phone call from a customer, OMG, my key does not work. Though I did have returns (only with Dodge Caravan, perhaps four keys), but it was not too bad.

I have just sent an email to my distributor about these keys. Looks like the European Key market is more up-to-date in new technology than North-American Market.

Aldridges, if i bought 10MH heads and 40MH blades then i could return 40EH blades for credit as i had just over

120 EH blades in stock i ordered 30 heads and 120 blades then returned the EH blades for a credit.

It was done with in Partnership with Silca so try the supplier you bought the EH blades from.

Having a Zedbull, I've never really needed EH heads and Blades. I hear talk of them but don't understand why people use them in general? Is it to do with the cloner you have? The only thing I've used EH heads for is Toyota yaris and aygo (Citreon C1) which won't work on TPX2 for some reason (on Zedbull anyway).

Are there any advantages for EH heads?

if you have bought the old electronic heads eh02 and ehpo phillips and blades from charles birch we will exchange these for new mh heads and blades.

to programe mh keys on your rw4,era 3,you will need a p box.

rw4 plus must have at least version 60 and your p box must have at least version 325. if you have era 3,rw4 or fastcopy you can add apbox to fit underneath alot cheaper option.

version 61 is now available for all rw4 rw4 plus and era 3 version 325 available for all p boxes.

for further help contact our warehouses craig at leeds, john at essex or speak to your local rep. check out birch deals with information about this.

there are 67 blades available.

I think mentioned sort of above - Silca Have stopped to supply EHS2 and EHP heads, just for your information, we sell BH2 heads for the Texas and Texas Crypto and will 100% fit with the Older Silca Key Blades, so no need to swap old blades over ,

" And " They are cheaper :D

Please feel free to check these out .

I am stuck with 150 blades, 10 EH2 and no EHP.

The EH2 are not the problem as I also have an AD900 and TPX cloner for the ID60 range.

The problem is exchanging out my old blades and getting new heads, as NWKeys are still waiting for Silca to give them the go-ahead.

Hopefully it will get sorted out soon, if Silca are reading this posting.

The saga continues.

I contacted Aldridges to buy 10 new heads and exchange 40 blades, but it appears that you need a receipt/s of purchase of the old blades from Aldridges. I have never bought from Aldridges but I have from numerous other suppliers, John Richard, N W Keys, 3DGroup, SKS etc, so Silca really need to get their finger out and sort out this exchange fiasco.
