Wiltshire Cobbler
Hi, does anyone know if Tuareg units are still available? I used to get them back in the Minit days but haven't seen them since then. It's a cupped tread unit with a raised heel and a stitch track for blaking. Hugh-Candoit (ENG)
Many of the Minit products were made specifically for Minit in the Euro production plant, this may have been one of those products as I have never heard of it on the open market, I remember it though as there were very few units having a track for blaking made for the repair trade.. x minit uk
I remember those units, you had to put them on just right with very little room for error or they looked crap. Seem to remember some called 'London' as well.
Wiltshire Cobbler
I don't believe this was made in the Minit factory in Belgium as everything that came out of there had the Minit logo or name stamped all over it. It's possible it was made elsewhere for them though. I can't remember 'London' units - The two other similar ones were the 'crepe look' that was a stuck on only wedged cupped unit (complete pants) and another unbranded one that was a wedge unit with a stitch track all around the cup for blaking to the side of the shoe. They were great for the moulded Clark's/Hush Puppies/Ecco's replacements. Does anyone know of any currently available units that will do the same job? x minit uk - Remember how we used to bag and box up seperately all the shoes and boots with "Hobsons" tags and trainers with "Nu-life" tags and it was only after 3 months of doing this we were told they were all sent to the same place.
