Iain
I've had some of the above keys back today where the key won't even go into the lock. I cut 2 sets of 2 for different locks. One set worked fine but the customer said the other set wouldn't even go in the lock. I checked the entire key over and could find nothing out of place, the gauge and bit thickness were exactly the same. I asked if there was a plate or escutcheon fitted and there isn't. I'm confused about this problem, have any of you folks encountered anything similar? Cheers. Iain
Lee No.2
Hi Iain, this was covered in another post not so long ago.."another key ident" was the topic name, think the blank to use is spaceguard or keypsafe.....

Iain
Thanks Lee, I forgot to write that I am using genuine blanks so there really shouldn't be a problem. I'm waiting on my customer ringing to let me know if the new ones work. Iain
kobblers
we've found the problem: the collar on the copies we have, even though they are originals, were too thick. we've ground them down to match and they work perfectly now. rick.
