Lee
A few years back I entered the Punch shoe repairer of the year awards (5 times over 8 years) And part of the process was a judge spending considerable time in the shop. I treated this as a free consultation. I always acted on his advice. which included things like, better lighting & lowering light fittings from ceiling to reduce low down shadowing etc. Over the years this advice was invaluable, helping transform my shop from a struggler to a survivor. I always watch trouble shooting type programs even if it is Ramsey you can learn a lot from them. Lee
StevenB
I've used business link in the past ( http://www.businesslink.gov.uk ) Phone them up & they will send an advisor to visit you to help with any aspect of your business. Best of all it's funded by the government & is free! I used to get a visit every couple of years to help me with various aspects of the business, advertising, legislation, merchandising, setting up a website, etc etc. Time I called them again, it's been too long, & what am I paying these taxes for anyway! alxfer
Cheers StevenB, I contacted my local branch, and they phoned me the next day. After a 10 minute phone call, they are posting info out to me. They may possibly come over to check out my premses.
