how do other members of the forum deal with the dirt on watches had this one in this morning we use latex gloves and scrap it off with a knife yesterday I had one bloke come in took it off his wrist was covered in crap and smell of fish I would never said anything to the customer its to embarrassing  :(

we use a nail brush to get most of this crap off. Would recomend the clean before opening otherwise all the crap goes in the watch.

pointed peg wood, then flat peg wood(similar to a cock tail stick, except when like me the day after a half day you think "Dam I forgot to buy cocktail sticks" and order peg wood as its easy to add to an order)  & a toothbrush before opening. never a wire brush!
