Anybody got any tips for repairing these? I've tried rehagol/pa5050, pa on its own and neoprene only, all without much success.

I know they use recycled materials (bottles/tyres) but i can't get a satisfactory bond.

All help much appreciated ta

Try using adhesive thinners such as Kumzof or similar as an undercoat. It works in most instances.

Hope this helps.

Rick.

Really?? Can't see how but will give it a whirl ta

Can you identify what the sole is made of or could it be anything? Which glues do you have?

Dunno what material it is. Scours like rubber but is smoother than thermo plas when done. Am using bostik 5050 pa or tek 950 neoprene.

One of our members, Elfman - a brilliant and old school repairer taught it me. It works on almost any substrate. Lee used to use this method, too, though I don't know if he still does.

Give it a try, you've got nothing to lose.

Rick.
