No, it means it's the first cobble I have heard of the doesn't know how to clean shoes. Are there anymore?

Flash... I own a Drycleaning and laundry business that does shoe repairs as well , the shoe repairs job done by a cobbler and I am trying to learn whenever I have spare time. He is off now and I was just try to assist a customer with cleaning this trainers as she was not confident  doing it her self using cleaning products we sell at the shop.

By the way, this forum is for exchanging ideas and learning from each other not some kind of bulling each other. Nothing wrong with asking questions when we are not sure about something.

Hope this explanation resolves your concerns...

Just take care with the Fairy Liquid it can damage some suede, better to use propriety products than domestic cleaners.

Apparently Mr T has just invested in a few machines and trialing them in a few branches that clean suede shoes, something about a steaming process I've heard. Great idea I think until the soles start peeling away from the uppers or customers start claiming the machine has shrunk their favourite trainers :)

Still hats off to the guy he knows how to make money thats for sure

All this can be done without the need of this machine, however using this machine makes the cleaning look more professional and also can be used as marketing tool/strategy.

I wounder if their machine can be used to clean leather shoes as well or its just for trainers and sued?

Would you really want to completely soak leather shoes like that?

No, I'm also a bit dubious about some of the insoles. A lot of them won't stand up to that kind of treatment.

Unless the trainers/shoes are labeled washable I wouldn't recommend washing them.

FAMACO Universal cleaner, be careful over soaking and abrasion on these designer trainers.  The Famaco Universal cleaner is powerful and solvent based but really works.

Give me a shout  01858-467467  Caroline, i'll send you a sample.
