Does anyone know if Seiko 7N33A and Epson VX33E are the same movement?

Are the hand stems the same diameter?

TIA

looks close, the vx33e appears to be 0.03mm higher, holes for dial feet look to be in same position, if in doubt, it appears that the seiko movement is only £3 dearer

The Seiko movement wasn't coming up on Cousins search so I Googled it and The VX33 came up as an alternative which I have in stock?

Thanks!

I thought it would have come up with all entries including what I had typed!!

The Seiko movement is about 4 times the price but I was worried about the spacings on the day/date wheels.

Might try the vx33 first before ordering the Seiko one.

Done it!

Used the VX33, seems to be running ok, will leave it for 24 hours to make sure it's running ok.
