Relevant for those using abrasive wheels for a variety of applications, across all industry types, the course covers their compatibility with various pieces of equipment, including bench grinders, angle grinders and petrol cut off machines. Teaching best practice The course includes both theory and practical elements covering best practice in line with current health and safety legislation, particularly HSG17 Safety in the Use of Abrasive Wheels and PUWER. Training takes delegates through hazards and risks when mounting and using abrasive wheels, from selecting the right wheel, through pre-use checks to mounting, dressing and even storage and transportation.
